3rd Annual Work-Life Jam Session to feature The Disney Keys to Excellence
The 3rd Annual Work-Life Jam Session, presented by TripleTrack, and sponsored by the UB School of Management and the Russell J. Salvatore School of Hospitality & Business at Trocaire College, will take place at Beaver Hollow Conference Center in Java Center, NY, on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 23 and 24.
Jam Session Day 1, Work-life Strategies for Leadership Effectiveness, will feature leadership roundtable discussions and dinner with national work-life keynote speaker and author Tom Terez. Terez is the author of 22 Keys to Creating a Meaningful Workplace, and a passionate advocate for building great workplaces.
Jam Session Day 2 features the world-renowned Disney Institute's "Keys to Excellence," a presentation that focuses on the importance of integrating corporate culture into the selection, training, communication, and care of employees. Among the topics that will be covered are: how effective leadership has been the catalyst at Disney, driving employee/customer satisfaction and bottom-line results; the Disney principles for service excellence; and the key practices and principles in building and sustaining the kind of loyalty that has made Disney a trusted and revered brand for more than 75 years.
This two-day conference is designed to provide Western New York academic leaders, business owners and managers, and HR professionals with an opportunity to improve organizational performance through looking at both work-life balance and the techniques for corporate success perfected by Disney.
The cost to attend for both days, overnight double occupancy, is $515 per person, which includes all sessions, meals, and activities. One-day and single occupancy options are also available.
